4.14 - Sundown Wild Forest

… always carrying within you the seed crystal for your next destination.
Took a quick walk in the Sundown Wild Forest this morning. The devastation of hurricane Irene remains evident in the sheer quantity of uprooted trees and disturbed river rocks, but amidst the tangled masses of debris are quiet, seemingly untouched pockets like the one shown above. The morning sun was bright and warm - making the emerging leaves sparkle and casting long beautiful shadows... This image was captured with my iPhone 4 using the Hipstamatic app.
