4.20 - Forsythia on East Mtn Road

We comfort ourselves by reliving memories of protection.
This morning I visited the road where I grew up. I can remember when these forsythia bushes were planted by our neighbor "Aunt Emma" in anticipation of when she would place a mobile home on the property for her retirement years. She planned to sit on her porch and look out over the yellow flowers to the stream across the street. The mobile home has come and gone - as have the families who lived here, but these lovely forsythia remain.
