Ultimately a marriage takes place between the visual need and a subject that will answer the need and at the same time satisfy the artist’s other concerns and feelings.
First bike ride of the season and all of my recent hill
walking paid off. The bikes enabled us to travel a bit further than our typical
walk down Big Hollow. This view is one of my favorites - the play of light and
color is always changing depending on the season, weather and time of day... This image was captured with my iPhone 4 using the Hipstamatic app. I made some additional adjustments in Photoshop.
